• Second and Third-Class Facilities on the RMS Titanic WebInteresting that on the Olympic and Titanic, only Second Class had an elevator that serviced all of its decks. The First Class elevator only went up to A Deck, and passengers had to ascend the staircase to get to the boat deck. I'm guessing this may have been intentional to make the A Deck staircase foyer more of a central focal point of the ship.
