WebJun 28, 2024 · The Shrink / Fatten option is useful for example when you want to scale a Cylinder in width only. This video goes over how to use it, as well as the less known options it offers. WebThis will bring up the transform panel in your 3D view. In that panel there's a section called Mesh display where you can tick Edge length. The scaling is explained in the video. WebI now am trying the scale them along their normals to increase the volume and distance evenly away from my base model (the body) using alt +s but it is not scaling. It is instead moving my shirt mesh along one specific axis (no increase in volume/size). I've been stuck here for an hour with no luck. Help! Thanks!

But if mesh is already skinned (parented) then you must unparent mesh from bones (alt + p) then scale bones and mesh than apply scale and parent again.
